She was called to the Bar in 1994, was a senior editor with Malayan Law Journal and had since returned to practice in 2004.

She practices primarily in intellectual property, banking litigation, general litigation, family law.  At Wong Beh & Toh, her experience, among others, equity securities offerings, initial public offerings, takeovers, mergers and acquisitions of companies and businesses.  Her work experience includes capital reductions and selective capital reductions (see the case reported in law report: Re Ann Joo Steel Bhd [2009] 1 CLJ 935).
